Hate is such a strong word.......but it is completely appropriate in this situation.
Independents are the ones who gave us Barack Obama and the Democrat Congress.
They are the ones who make political mistakes possible. First, they want to be liked by everyone on both sides.....ie, "I'm not a fan of either the Republicans or the Democrats. I vote for who I think would do the best." In short, they stand for NOTHING. They only want to be a part of the winning bandwagon. As we have seen in the two recent elections, you can't trust their judgment!
Second, they are the most gullible of all the electorate. You expect Leftists, Liberals, "Progressives", and other assorted mental patients to always vote for the Democrats, just as you expect Conservatives and Patriots to vote for the Republicans. But in 2006 and 2008, all of those lovable Independents just HAD to vote for Democrats because they wanted to be a part of something "historic"............not do what is best for our country.
And that leads me to my third reason.......Independents don't pay a bit of attention to anything that is going on in the world until a week before the election....IF THEN! I know everyone, except Democrats, has a busy life and it is hard to keep up with everything in the news. But for God's sake, change the channel from ESPN and OPRAH to some sort of news and information network (Fox News preferably) for at least 30 minutes a day to find out........WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON! This is why you see all of the protests at the Town Halls lately. These Independent FOOLS voted for Barack Obama and the Democrats, and are now angry because he wants to do what he said in the campaign he wanted to do! You Independent folks just dismissed it by saying it was just rhetoric. Well it's too late now!
Sometimes I get discouraged when I realize that no one will actually read any of my blogs. But if only one of them is read by anyone, I wish it would be this one and by as many Independents as possible. Because if any group needs to have their heads examined, it's you Independents.
